INIRAM will demonstrate single blade machining on the Hamuel HSTM 1000 using Hamuel's patented BladeMill software and CO2 cooling technology to perform spiral milling for roughing and finishing operations for the complete blade.
For this demonstration, we will be machining an Inconel 603 blade for the steam industry and a titanium fan blade for the aviation industry.
Workshop 2 - Innovative Technology for Trochoidal Milling
INIRAM will demonstrate IRUBA's innovative trochoidal milling technology as an alternative to broaching. Trochoidal milling of a complex fan disk will be performed on the Hermle C60 utilizing IRUBA's patented technology. The IRUBA solution includes probing software and tooling to optimize machining of fir tree milling and enhance flexibility for workpiece components and technologies.
IRUBA will illustrate how trochoidal milling can significantly lower your fir tree machining costs.
The IRUBA solution includes DPS (Delcam Profesional Services) software and tooling that will:
Optimize machining of fir tree or dove tail slots
Enhance flexibility for workpiece components and technologies with de-burring and probing software
Reduce impact on the environment as a "green" solution
Machine materials for stationary energy components and aero engines
Workshop 3 - Optimizing the Blisk Machining Process
Blisk machining will be performed on the Hermle C60 using OPEN MIND hyperMILL 5 Axis Technology software combined with IRUBA high performance tools.
In this demonstration, we will be machining a workpiece with a diameter of 1100 mm, a height of 200mm, and a blade length of 140mm.

INIRAM is conveniently located at the intersection of three major highways, Route 128, I-95 and Route 1, and just 20 minutes from Logan airport.
